4 DAYS DOUBLE GORILLA TRACKING TOUR

4 day gorilla itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes NP.
The tour guide / driver shall pick you from the airport on arrival and take you for OPTIONAL CITY TOUR before driving you northwards to Volcanoes NP. Dinner and overnight stay at Sabinyo Silverback Lodge /Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/ La Palme Hotel /Muhabura Hotel.

Day 2: 1st Gorilla trekking adventure and cultural walk.
You will head to the park headquarters after your early breakfast with packed lunch to be briefed about the dos and don'ts while with the gorillas then proceed to track the gorillas. You will then enter the forest in search of the gentle giants. This may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the animals on the day. In the evening, you will go for cultural walk to the Banyarwanda community where you will learn more about Rwanda culture. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: 2nd Gorilla tracking and nature walk.
Have an early breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before embarking on the second gorilla trek in Volcanoes national park, this time tracking a different group. In the evening, you may go nature walk. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Day 4: Golden Monkey tracking and Transfer to Kigali and departure.
In the morning, you will go for golden monkey tracking, where you will encounter other monkey species. On return, transfer back to Kigali and do additional city tour (OPTIONAL). Visit the genocide memorial, local markets, and later transfer to the airport to check in for your departure flight.
