2 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trek

2 days Rwanda gorilla tour will start and end in Kigali taking you to Volcanoes National Park for gorilla tracking.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kigali Airport and Transfer to Volcanoes National park
Upon arrival at Kigali airport, your driver/guide shall receive you and then drive you Volcanoes National park with en route view of the escarpments and Virunga mountain ranges. You may opt to have a short tour of Kigali city before transferring to Volcanoes NP in case time allows or had an overnight in Kigali where you will visit the local market, Gisozi genocide museum among others. Dinner and overnight at Muhabura Hotel/Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge/Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and transfer back to Kigali
You shall wake up early for breakfast, prepare your gorilla trekking gear, take a packed lunch, enough bottled drinking water and head to the park headquarters for briefing at 7am about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. You will enter the forest at 8:30 to search for track the gorillas, an exercise that will take 1-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in their natural wild. When you see the gorillas, a maximum of one hour is allowed to stay with them. You will then descend back and meet your driver who will drive you back to Kigali reaching in the evening.
