One Day Kigali City Tour

The driver/guide shall brief you in the morning at your Hotel about the important spots to visit while in Kigali and then proceed for a city tour in Kigali.
Kigali has a far reaching background as 1907 when Dr. Richard Kandt, the first colonial governor of Rwanda named it Kigali. Kigali is surrounded by hills with lush green vegetation giving you scenic nature spots to admire.
As part of the tour, we shall have to take a historical view into Rwanda and visit the 1994 Rwanda Genocide memorial museums to remember over 500,000 people that lost their lives over a period of 100 days caused by ethnic tensions between the majority Hutu tribe and the minority Tutsi tribe.
You will visit Des Mille Colline hotel which is famously know as Hotel Rwanda, Gisozi Genocide Memorial museum, Nyamata church, Ntarama church, Belgium museum, art and craft shop, Kigali Museum and learn the history of city and country’s pre-colonial and colonial period as well as the colonial masters in Rwanda, Visit the Juru Park for a fantastic view of the city, surrounding hillside and countryside. It is one of the highest points in Kigali city.
Later in the evening, proceed to the Crystal View Cocktail Lounge on the eighth floor of the Top Tower Hotel for panoramic views overlooking the entire city of Kigali! As striking at night as it is during the day. At the end of the tour, one is reminded exactly why Rwanda is known as “The Land of a Thousand Hills”
